The VIPCOO H6 is the most powerful bike in the VIPCOO range — a 60V 6000W electric dirt bike with a 31.5Ah battery, 290Nm claimed torque and full-size 19"/17" off-road tyres. £1,599, down from an RRP of £1,999.99, with free UK delivery.

Held in UK stock, so there's no import wait and no customs charge when it arrives — typically 3–5 working days, often faster.

How fast does the VIPCOO H6 go?

The supplier lists a top speed of up to 80km/h (50mph) at full charge with no load, across three selectable riding modes. That's measured under ideal conditions — real speed depends on rider weight, terrain, battery charge and tyre pressure.

The three modes let you dial power down for tighter trails or inexperienced riders, then open it up when conditions allow.

How far will it go on a charge?

VIPCOO lists 56–79km (35–49 miles) per charge from the 60V 31.5Ah battery. The gap between those two numbers comes down almost entirely to how you ride — sustained full throttle drains it far faster than steady cruising. Hills, mud, cold weather and a heavier rider all cut into it further, so plan against the lower figure.

A full charge takes roughly 6–8 hours.

How long will the battery last?

The 60V 31.5Ah pack stores around 1,890Wh, which is a genuinely large battery by e-bike standards. As a general guide for lithium-ion packs, expect several hundred full charge cycles — typically in the region of 500–800 — before you notice capacity dropping. For most riders that translates to several years.

Simple habits extend it: avoid leaving it flat or sitting at full charge for weeks at a time, charge indoors rather than in a freezing shed, and let it reach room temperature before charging after a cold ride.

Is the VIPCOO H6 road legal in the UK?

No. At 60V/6000W and up to 80km/h, the H6 is far beyond the limits for a road-legal EAPC, which caps continuous motor power at 250W with assistance cutting out at 25km/h (15.5mph). Selecting a lower mode doesn't change its classification.

It's built for private land and permitted off-road use. Public-road use would require motor-vehicle type approval, registration, tax, insurance and an appropriate licence. If you want something for roads and cycle paths, see our road-legal 250W range instead.

What the H6 is actually good at

Torque where it counts

The gearbox reduction system sends up to 290Nm to the rear wheel. In practice that means it pulls hard from a standstill and climbs steep, loose ground without bogging down — the supplier rates it for gradients up to 25°.

Bigger wheels than the H2 and H3

A 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tyre is close to full motocross sizing, and it makes a real difference over rocks, ruts and roots compared with the smaller 14"/12" wheels on the H3. The larger front wheel rolls over obstacles rather than stopping against them.

Proper suspension and brakes

Front hydraulic suspension with a rear nitrogen shock absorber soaks up rough ground, and front and rear hydraulic disc brakes plus electronic braking give you controlled stopping power on descents.

Published speed and range figures are supplier estimates rather than guarantees.

Will it fit me, and can I move it?

At roughly 70.5kg the H6 is a substantial machine — noticeably heavier than the H3. Plan for ground-level storage, and expect to need two people and ramps to load it into a van. Maximum load is 150kg.

The supplier suggests a rider height of roughly 5ft 2in to 6ft 2in, but check the seat height and whether you can get both feet down comfortably before riding. Given the power on tap, this isn't a machine for a first-time rider.

Can I ride it in the rain?

The H6 carries an IPX4 rating, which covers splashes and light rain. It'll handle riding through some water, but it isn't designed for heavy rain or deep water crossings, and pressure washing will force water past the seals.

H6 vs H3

The VIPCOO H3 is the smaller, lighter and cheaper option at £1,099 — 3500W, a 48V 23Ah battery and 14"/12" tyres, weighing around 57kg. The H6 nearly doubles the motor power, adds around 70% more battery capacity and moves to near-motocross wheel sizing.

If you're riding rough, open ground or want the extra range, the H6 earns the difference. For tighter trails, a lighter rider or a smaller budget, the H3 remains a strong choice. Read the full H3 vs H6 comparison or browse the VIPCOO range.
